In the fourth quarter of 2021, the performance of top sports apps on the iOS platform in the Dominican Republic showed diverse trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top 5 sports apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

NBA: Live Games & Scores saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.2K at the end of September and peaking at around $2.8K in late October. The app closed the quarter with revenue near $2.6K. Weekly downloads spiked to over 1K in mid-October but generally remained in the range of 200-700 downloads per week. Active users showed some variability, peaking at 12.9K in early October and settling around 10.7K by the end of December.

MLB experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $1.1K in early October to a low of around $110 in mid-November. However, there was a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, with revenue reaching $387 in late December. Weekly downloads saw a downward trend, starting at 898 in early October and dropping to about 158 by the end of December. Active users also showed a decline, starting from 15.2K in early October and ending the quarter at 12.7K.
